Nature's Glory Tamari can be used as a gluten-free replacement for shoyu (soy sauce). Tamari is thicker and not as salty as shoyu and we use it mostly in stews or soups for a fuller umami flavour.

Aside from the fact that Nature's Glory Tamari tastes so much better than commercial grade tamari, we use Nature's Glory Tamari because:

1. Ingredients are organically certified whole ingredients which are grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and not genetically modified. 
2. Uses sea-salt which contains minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium. 3. No preservatives and additives. 
4. Fermented traditionally using spring water and aged for 18 months in wooden kegs. This process completely breaks down the soy proteins  to release a wealth of amino acids, phytonutrients and minerals for easy absorption.
5. Independently and locally tested to be free from cancer causing substances like 3-MCPD.
